About Datanomic

Founded in 2001, Datanomic specialises in developing powerful data profiling and enhancement solutions to the enterprise market. In 2007 the company launched the first version of its dn:Director application, an end-to-end data screening, auditing, and transformation solution entirely rewritten in Java. The success of dn:Director has led to impressive growth, allowing Datanomic to penetrate an even broader range of market sectors and extend its geographical reach.

The challenge for Gungho

The Gungho marketing team got involved in 2007, when Datanomic was a small, VC-backed start-up software company about to launch its dn:Director application. Gungho worked closely with the senior management team to ensure a steady flow of well qualified appointments for a period of nearly four years.

The outcome

During this time Datanomic experienced rapid growth, fuelled by the creativity of the Gungho team who identified new business development opportunities across a number of vertical markets and geographies. Datanomic's growth doubled year on year and was acquired by Oracle in May 2010.
