The Challenge

Cognito found Gungho on recommendation (we love word of mouth referrals!) after experiencing below-average results with other lead-generation and nurture campaign agencies. Eager to improve the quality of the opportunities flowing to the sales team, Cognito approached Gungho and requested a trial contract.

They wanted an agency that could really get to grips with their complex proposition, so our experience in the software sector was a real plus here.

The brief was to assist Cognito’s UK sales team with making qualified appointments into the service sector market with companies who met their very specific technical criteria.

We’ve long been firm believers that cold calling only works if the caller has a strong and detailed understanding of the proposition and the market, and there are few companies out there that approach a new project with the same level of rigorous research we do.

The Outcome

For almost two years, our cold calling wizards have been working their magic and conjuring up a steady stream of new business appointments for Cognito.  And not just any appointments – many of the leads we’ve generated have been with large international companies entering into a buying cycle to either replace their legacy technology or implement a fully fledged mobile workforce solution for the very first time.

The senior management were delighted with our results, and they continue to use Gungho to help the UK sales team with lead generation.
